Move home…..inherit garden
Move home…..inherit garden
If you have just moved house and are suddenly faced with the challenge of a new garden, the main thing is not to panic and just dig everything up, you have no idea what beauties may be lurking under the soil. No matter what time of the year you move, unless the garden is a complete disaster area, you need to be patient. If you viewed the garden when it was in full bloom, then you will already have some general idea of what was in the garden. Whereas, if you viewed and moved in midwinter, chances are that you won’t want to start gardening yet and anyway, it is the ideal time of year to scope out the garden. From the spring plants will start to come back to life and you can truly see what is already in the garden. Try to get into the habit of wandering around the garden every few days from early spring to see if anything is happening (be careful, this becomes addictive and you may join the ranks of those who potter!!).Written by: IsisX©IsisX 2008
